Statement on the protection, collection and use of personal data
Internet service “ISTRIA-LUX”, which is owned by ISTRIA LUX d.o.o., commits itself to protect the personal data of customers in a way that it collects only the necessary, basic information about customers/users that are necessary to fulfill our obligations; to inform customers about the way we collect data, regularly give customers a choice about usage of their data including the ability decision whether they want or not to remove their name from lists used for marketing campaigns. All user information’s are strictly confidential and are available only to employees who find such information necessary to perform the job. All employees and business partners are responsible for compliance with the principles of privacy protection.
Purchase security with credit and debit cards
The security of credit and debit card data is guaranteed and ensured through the use of SSL encryption. The pages used for charging and debiting credit and debit cards are secured using the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol with 128-bit data encryption. SSL encryption is a data encryption procedure used to prevent unauthorised access during data transmission between the Customer’s computer and the Web Secure Payment Gateway (WSpay) system.
The Web Secure Payment Gateway (WSpay) system is connected to card companies via a virtual private network (VPN), which is protected against unauthorised access. Credit and debit card numbers are not stored and are not accessible to unauthorised persons.
The Agency undertakes to protect the personal data of customers, in such a way that only necessary, basic data about customers/users are collected, which are necessary for the fulfillment of our obligations; informs customers about the use of collected data, regularly gives customers a choice about the use of their data, including the ability to decide whether or not they want their name removed from lists used for marketing campaigns. All user data is strictly kept and is only available to employees who need this data to perform their work. All employees of the agency and business partners are responsible for respecting the principles of privacy protection.
