A multimedia exhibition with a wealth of entertaining activities will take you into the world of the past, while the “Escape Castle” game will lead you to the secret message of a mysterious knight.

The visitor centre is located in the centre of Barban and presents the unique cultural and historical heritage of the area in an interactive way, through education and visual presentation, with “Trka na Prstenac” as its main theme. This race is a symbol of the town and one of Istria’s main tourist attractions.

The ground floor has an attractive entrance, with the symbols on the doors representing “Trka na Prstenac”. On the first floor, there is a passage that will remind you of a race track. As visitors pass through it, light and sound signals are activated, as well as a speedometer that changes according to their speed and distance from the target with the ring.

There is also a small room presenting participants in Trka na Prstenac throughout history, as well as the “vitica” exhibit – the ring with lances around it – traditional folk costumes and additional equipment. A circular room evokes the history of Barban and “Trka na Prstenac”, paying homage to the most famous riders through audio and video presentations.
