The area also features six churches protected as part of Croatia’s cultural heritage, including the Church of St. Mary in Berm, famous for the 1474 fresco Dance of the Dead. Nature lovers can explore the Pazin Stream, with its lakes, waterfalls, and caves, adding to the region’s unique charm.
For those wishing to explore Istria, Poreč, Rovinj, and Pula are about a 30-minute drive away, as are most of Istria’s beaches.
