Villa Maja is a charming holiday home located on a spacious 1,230 m² plot in the village of Orbanići, offering its guests a comfortable stay and all the amenities needed for their holiday.
The villa features three spacious bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom. Guests have access to a large, fenced garden with a lawn, a sunbathing area, and a children’s playground. The outdoor area also includes a covered dining area equipped with a TV and an ice maker, suitable for dining and socializing outdoors.
Near the villa, guests can enjoy a variety of activities and explore the rich selection of experiences offered by central Istria. Visit picturesque towns such as Svetvinčenat, known for its medieval Morosini-Grimani Castle and cultural events, or Rovinj, one of the most romantic towns in Istria. For food lovers, the surrounding area offers authentic Istrian taverns and restaurants where you can taste local specialties such as truffles, homemade pasta, and fresh seafood.

We booked Villa Maja for a week in early September. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the host, and there were already drinks in the fridge—a huge plus on the day we arrived. The local pastries (little fried dough balls) were also excellent, despite the high calorie count. The villa is in perfect condition and has everything needed for a relaxing holiday. Watching TV on the terrace (or from the pool) in the evening was a real treat. We made use of the gas grill, and the ice maker was another great feature. The garden is very large and fully fenced; our two dogs felt right at home. The grass is kept short, making it easy to spot and clean up after them. All in all, a perfect holiday. The location—almost in the center of Istria—allows for quick trips to the coastal towns. "Downsides": - If you have an electric car, you need to plan your charging carefully (though we were aware of this beforehand); there are no fast-charging stations within a 10–20 km radius, and even 11/22 kW AC charging stations are few and far between. - September is already fully booked for next year :-(
Wir hatten einen rundum perfekten Urlaub in diesem wunderschönen Ferienhaus. Die ruhige Lage lädt wunderbar zum Entspannen ein und besonders für einen Urlaub mit Hund ist das Haus ideal geeignet. Der komplett eingezäunte Garten war einfach perfekt. Auch die Vermieterin war unglaublich herzlich und hilfsbereit – man hat sich sofort willkommen gefühlt. Liebe Martina, vielen Dank für alles und dafür, dass wir eine so schöne Zeit verbringen durften! Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.
Die Gastgeberin hat uns herzlich mit selbst gebackenen Kuchen vor Ort begrüßt. Die Villa ist wunderschön, sehr gepflegt und sauber. Wir und unsere zwei Hunde haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt, es fehlt wirklich an nichts. Vielen Dank für den wundervollen Urlaub!!!
